Welcome from the President

It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to my first conference as the President of the Australasian Military Medicine Association.

Our theme this year recognises the advances and changes that have occurred in the military medicine and veterans’ health fields in the 100 years since the end of World War I.

Last year saw an amazing turnout for our Conference with over 560 registrations over the three days. Delegates to this year’s Conference will again be treated to a highly informative program with a selection of academic, scientific, and professional presentations.

Our social program highlight is once again the Conference Dinner to be held at the National Arboretum. In 2018 we are including a short award ceremony to recognise winners of our Conference and Journal awards.
