Aviation Medicine Workshop

Cost: $400 for AMMA members  | $450 for non-members

Provide an update on aviation medicine within the Australian Defence Force. Contemporary military aviation medicine topics will be discussed, with a question and answer panel to finalise the day.

Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defence Workshop

Date: Thursday 11 October

Time: 0830 to 1700 

Location: Murray Room, National Convention Centre, Canberra 

Cost: $400 for AMMA members  | $450 for non-members

The Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Defence Workshop session will be facilitated by experts in the field.

This workshop will cover a brief history of CBRN weapons and the current proliferation threats; provide updates on the medical effects of CBRN agents, including their use in warfare and terrorism, with case examples and lessons learned; and discuss advances in medical countermeasures, medical treatments and force protection.

The workshop will finish with a Tabletop Exercise, which will allow participants to apply the knowledge gained during the day.
